Cheerios, Cheerios, Everywhere

Reed tried Cheerios for the first time yesterday. At first he didn't really know what to do with them. Once he got them in his mouth he looked at me as if to say, "Mom? Am I allowed to have this in my mouth? Okay, so now what do I do?" Finally he got the hang of it, and chewed/gummed them. And when he was done, there may have been more in the seat/floor/shorts then his tummy. But he had fun either way.

The last shot is my fav. O's, what a magical food. Such a classic. I look forward to the day where I will find spilled O's in every nook and cranny of the house and leave a little trail of O's in every restaurant we visit :)

Remember when Brittany tried to microwave them at the house "just to see what would happen?"

Now that you and Reed have O's in your lives, you will not know what you ever did without them. I swear they are a magical food (as Brittany said). They can tame a screaming beast of a child and put a smile on her face as if she has won the lottery. Anna Kate giggles, screams, and waves her arms around every time I get the big yellow box out of the pantry.

On a side note... I can so see Brittany microwaving cheerios... LOL

nooking o's. . .oh my! I probably should not confess this, but I had another "just to see what happens" incident with the microwave involving cutlery. Lightening is what happens folks. A straight up thunderstorm with no precipitation. I should have been a scientist. ha!

Did you know if you plant Cheerios, you get a bagel tree? It's true. (My favorite bagel shop in college had a little jar of "bagel seeds" by the register. HA!)

Thanks for visiting.
