Not so Wordless Wednesday

Sorry for the lack of blogging lately, but we've been busy! We spent several days in Chattanooga last week while Lindsay and Whit were in town, and this week we've been getting our house ready to sell. Yep, that's right. We're moving. Michael is transferring with his company to Chattanooga by the middle of July. While we're sad we'll be leaving a lot of family, friends and our church, we're also very excited about the new opportunities to come! So we've been busy painting and cleaning and house hunting and packing, and well, the list goes on and on.

Oh, and for Mother's Day Reed got me a new camera! So get ready for a bunch of new photos, whenever I get time to learn to use it! Reed is changing so much lately! Just in the last week he has started sitting himself up on his own (he's been sitting up unsupported for a while, but now he can get there all by himself), and pulling up to standing. On everything. The crib. The furniture. Laundry baskets. In the pack and play. You name it, he pulls up on it. If I were to baby proof my house, I think the only way to do it would be to pull everything out of it completely. Ha! I guess for now I'll just settle on watching him closely.

Lindsay took some great photos while she was in, and you can check them all out here. Here's just a few ...

Reed's first driving lesson with Papa T.
After a few encounters, Reed and Harley decided that they like each other. While Harley licked Reed's toes, Reed giggled/screamed so loud he attracted a couple of curious neighbors!
Every time I see this picture, I want to sing, "Do the Co-oo-ool Whip, do the cool whip!"

Reed even let Auntie K and Auntie L play dress up with him.

Reed really enjoyed the boat, and Auntie L and Uncle Whit while they were here!

I was waiting for the unleashing knowing that you had not blogged in a while, the amount of pictures Lindsay took and your new camera.

I also wondering when you were going to share your news with the blog world. Of course we are so excited to have you guys here. I know we are definitely not the only ones. Ada said to tell Reed that she can not wait!

This is the beginning of a wonderful friendship between Ada and Reed, I'm sure. :) I know your parents must be thrilled. Good luck with the move! Having moved three times in three years, I sympathize--though I haven't moved with a baby, which I'm guessing is a whole new experience.

I just want to say good luck with your move to Chattanooga! I am a friend of Brittany's and my husband and I just moved to Nashville from Chattanooga about 1 month ago.
I've heard lots about you and have enjoyed reading your blog and hearing about Reed via Brittany. I also knew Lindsay from HHS.

Anyway, congrats on the move and good luck selling your home.

Thanks for visiting.
